Something has to die

Before we can truly perceive the presence of the Lord, there often needs to be a significant transformation within us, a shedding of the old to make way for the new. The Almighty God is inherently holy and transcendent; to behold Him, we must cultivate our own holiness. This means purifying our thoughts, intentions, and actions. Only when our hearts are cleansed and our vision is unclouded by impurities can we genuinely recognize and appreciate the divine majesty of the Lord as He manifests in our lives. It is through this inner sanctification that we open ourselves to experiencing His exalted nature and the profound impact He has on our journey.
